How to Track Your IRS Refund
You can check your refund status directly on the IRS website using the following link:
▪ You will need the following information:
- Social Security number or ITIN
- Your filing status
- Your exact refund amount
▪ To find this information:
- Your Social Security number and filing status are located on the first page of your 1040 tax return.
- Your refund amount is on the second page of your 1040 tax return, line 35a.

The IRS website provides the most up-to-date information regarding your refund status. OTM Taxes and other tax offices will not have additional information beyond what is available through the IRS’s “Where’s My Refund” tool.
